Marion Holland

Marion was a bell ringer at the Norman Tower, Bury St Edmunds for more than 20 years and she sadly passed away at Risby Park Nursing Home on the 13th February 2022. Marion rang many quarter peals and peals throughout her life, mainly with her husband Ian, and often in her favourite method, Stedman.

Marion's funeral will take place on Tuesday 15th March at 11am at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1LS followed by the Committal at The Abbey Chapel, West Suffolk Crematorium, Risby, IP28 6RR at 12.30pm, and refreshments at All Saints Hotel Golf and Spa, Fornham St Martin, IP286JQ from 1.00pm.

• Open ringing 10:00 – 10:50 bells half muffled – everyone welcome.

• 10:50 - 11:00, tolling the tenor.
• After the service there will be a quarter peal attempt.
