Centenary Peal at Palgrave

On Sunday 16th November 2008 at St Peter's Church, Palgrave, a full centenary peal of Oxford Treble Bob Major was successfully rung by Suffolk Guild Ringers conducted by Lesley Wilson.

We are now in the process of having a new peal board made to commemorate this special and successful occasion.

This will be placed on the tower wall opposite the original peal board which was put there to commemorate the first peal (same method) rung on 12th November 1908 on the then newly augmented and re-hung bells.
