Wissett Restoration

First Quarter Peal on the Bells, 23rd October 2009

Wissett Peal Band

1260 Plain Bob Doubles

Rung immediately before the Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Peter Eagle-Bott. Peter took a leading role in the fundraising for the recent rehang of Wissett's bells. He died during the week the bells came back, so saw them, but never heard them. His wife Valerie has galvanised the village into learning or returning to ring (including Hugh and Derek).

This is the first service the bells have been rung for since their rehang.
